The season is nudging ever closer and preparations are underway!
Firstly we want to invite all our members to get actively involved in how our club looks. To this end we have arranged the following -
Saturday April 1st - Don't be a Fool - join us for Mats'n' Maintenance!
10.00am -1.00pm - Brunch Cobs and a hot drink at the end for all the Workers.
Mats back in ditches + much more.

9th Sep Revised Club Finals Day Details
Both Leagues have now finished and final positions can be confirmed. Despite a strong finish to the season, taking 27 points from a possible 28 in the last four games, the Federation team finished second by two points to Stute.
The Bowls Derbyshire team finished third out of the five teams.
Thanks to the managers of both teams and well done to all members who played in the teams.
We now have three Cup finals left to play. Two this week, Thursday 18th and Friday 19th August.

English Bowling Federation National Finals take place in Skegness from Sunday 21st August for 7 days. Entry is Free, greens are on the seafront. If you are not able to visit results can be found at www.fedbowls.co.uk
Success for DWEBC players in Skegness, Liz Greenough has reached the Final in the Secretaries cup and Steve Menzies and Dean Shaw has reached the final of the Men's Pairs, see below.

Bowls England National Finals are held at Victoria Park, Royal Leamington Spa from 25th August - 18th September. Tickets are available at the Gate, pre booked tickets are available at a discounted rate online. Results can be found at www.bowlsengland.com
We are pleased at announce that thanks to a generous donation from Sylvianna Barrell we have purchased a Defibrillator for the Club. It will be stored in the Pavilion. If you would like training in how to use it please contact Steve Bird who will provide information.

The Club has presented Sylvianna Barrell with a Framed Shirt in recognition of her donation enabling the Club to buy a new shirt for all 2021 Club Members. This was done in remembrance of her husband and former Club member Derek Barrell.
